I've been tutoring the SAT and ACT for over 10 years. I'm currently a PhD student at UCLA in Statistics and just finished my Masters degree in Computer Science, also at UCLA. I regularly help students increase their SAT score 150-300 points and ACT scores 3-10 points. In the past, I have worked for Veritas Prep, Compass Education, Kaplan, Princeton Review, and private test-prep companies in my hometown of Palos Verdes. But I now only use Veritas Prep's curriculum for tutoring, as I've found it to be the very best. The strategy-oriented curriculum is easy for students to remember. I offer 1-on-1 tutoring, and it can be comprehensive or focused on a specific area like math, writing, or critical Reading. For comprehensive prep, I have a 12-lesson Veritas Prep SAT and ACT courses. Student receives: Veritas Prep SAT/ACT course slides (free) Structured course Only official SAT or ACT questions as homework About me: 2400 SAT, 35/36 ACT PhD in Artificial Intelligence at UCLA 3.93 GPA Personable with students Focus on building students' confidence Very interactive online lessons (question and answer format) Tutoring over Skype or Zoom Flexibility to meet 1-3 times per week 2-3 hours at at time Please reach out by email, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
